Rest in Peace Steve Jobs.

We lost a living legend today to pancreatic cancer. His presentation style was unique and captivating. I do not own any apple product, due to high costs and not being value for money. But I have always looked up apple products to gain inspiration while I search products in my own range. E.g. recently I bought a Sony Vaio laptop, because I could not pay double the price for the same hardware and similar software in MacBook Pro.Keep in mind that in India we pay a lot more for US products. But I bought a white colored laptop, just because it looks so cool, just like MacBook.

I was very much impressed by one video on youtube that teaches you how to present like Steve Jobs. Below here is that video.

Now as you can see, it is really cool

I remember another great Dr Randy Pausch succumbing to pancreatic cancer. He gave the last Lecture, see the video below.

In 1970 Steve came to India to learn spiritualism from Neem Karoli Baba a Hindu monk, along with the future 1st employee of Apple Inc Daniel Kottke. Went back as a Buddhist. I do not know what that made him religion wise. As his biological father was Muslim, Mother was Christian, Learned religion from Hindu, got converted to Buddhism, which is a derivative of Hinduism now considered as a full fledged and separate religion. Still then Hinduism accepts the followers of Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism as its own. Anyways in short as of any genius Jobs’ brain was what mattered most.

So here teaching future doctors seems to be my future. I love teaching and interacting with young budding minds very much. They have ambitions and will to carry it through the blizzard of problems.

Many repeated questions, many ineligible examinees make this AIIMS PG for MD/MS/Mch(6 years) difficult ever.

Bogus

What I do not understand is why AIIMS does not take any action on bogus examinees. Every year thousands of 3rd year, 4th year and final year students apply giving false information. But no action is taken against any of them. This examination is strictly for doctors who are doing their internship or who have completed it. Anybody other than this is violating the rules.

These violators who are very good students are taking this risk, because they want to get PG in the very first chance. And this examination will serve as a practice paper.

Now this gives a sense of disregard towards rules to the new would be doctors and the price is borne by the nation to which these small miscreants flood.

Absence from duty, misbehavior towards poor patients and private practicing while drawing NPA (Non Practicing Allowance) are just the result of greed and sense of disrespect towards law and rules. It is needless to say that if rules should be enforced, irregularity in future services will be curbed to a lot of extent.

As the readers of this blog know that I am yet to get into PG so this article might get some serious backlashing from the doctor community of India. But then hey, this is my blog
