Midgets and Knee Caps

Today I was thinking of reading some health related articles. So I searched the Google Blogsearch. In it I found this HealthyLivingIndia.org website.

The said article was about 20 Health Myths. The article was OK. But what I found more funny was at the bottom of the website right in the footer area.

It said

You Steal This Content And We Send Midgets After Your Knee Caps.

I hope they are not sending any for this quotation. But then I got curious about this use of words. So again i went in to might Google to search about Midgets and Knee caps. I found this video in youtube which was taken from metacafe.

And of course I remembered the movie Bedtime Stories (2008) by Adam Sandler. In the movie his nephew describes the story where one angry midget comes across the street and hits him in the knee. That was stupid and funny.

From this post onwards I have changed my permalink structures to a more web log diary type of  structure. I was going nuts about /postname kind of structure.

Sorry for my absence

I have not written in a while due to my PG examinations. By the way the exams are not over yet. So I might not be able to write regularly anytime soon.
I know I have not written anything worthwhile in recent times. But then I doubt if anybody is reading me now.
I am hoping all this will get clear soon and things will brighten up soon.

Medical blogs that changed plans for my blog

Yeah you read it right. After my last post, I searched the net about blogs by doctors. I came up many blogs. This is just a list.

When I went to these blogs the first thing I did was to subscribe their feeds. Many blogs are on blogger. The thing that was very common among them is their medical or dental related topics. Now this was what I was thinking to do to my blog. Then I tried to find about their number of subscribers.  They were getting visitors in hundreds. But I was in for a surprise when I found out this site of Kevin Pho.

KevinMD.com is the site that I am so excited about. It asks to subscribe via aweber. Now aweber costs money to maintain. The blog is wordpress. The theme is Thesis a premier one. And he has tens of thousands subscribers via feedburner. I wonder what his total number of visitors.

Now my friends I am reading this site as fast I am trying. I really hope that I will make my blog popular like KevinMd.com someday. Btw his blog has been nominated the best med blog of 2008.

So hopefully I am going to stick with this idea I am signing out. And yes another thing I am changing the sites looks just to have the right combination. So please bear with me.

Marketing Revisited

Today the market is full of testimonials about products and there are peole who will tell you half truths and whole lies for earning a commisiions. So where do a common surfer like you and me stand in this time of turmoil? It is a time when products are plenty, but takers are very few. Many amature marketeres are providing false data to lur e people into products that they they themselves have no idea

So to curb these problems we can rely only on professionals of the respective fields. For health products we can take the help of doctors and editors incharge of Health Hunch,  a premier health website or so I thought. I have recently sold this site to one of my friends . He requested me not to change the whois data. Yesterday I came across the site and was amused to see a Dr Jeremy Kingston has put a review on a product called  Ejaculation Trainer. The original ebook is written by Matt Wutzke. So you can read this Ejaculation Trainer Review in this website. I am amused. I am not sure if he has partenered any body or not.

I am now thinking seriously of changing the whois data of Health Hunch . As I have no idea what is going on that site so I consider it to be of paramount importance o change the data. But the problem is  I have to ask my friend to change it . I am on to it right away.
